Mary Tavy and Brentor School Uniform

We are passionate about supporting our families and the 'Cost of Living Crisis' We have reviewed our School Uniform Policy in light of the The Department for Education (DfE) cost of school uniform guidance .  We have ensured that our school uniform costs are reasonable, and parents get the best value for money.  

We also have a wonderful Pre- Loved School Uniform Venture run by Mrs Bisby.  

We have a surplus of second hand uniform that you are most welcome to.  Mrs Bisby fortnightly holds Pre Loved sales in the Hub for you to have a look through and either swap items your children have grown out of or offer a voluntary contribution for items you need.

The school uniform is as follows:

White polo shirt  There is an embroidered option available with the School Logo but this is not essential 

Purple jumper or purple cardigan There is an embroidered option available with the School Logo but this is not essential 

Black/grey trousers, skirt, pinafore or tailored shorts

Black school shoes

Optional purple and white checked summer school dress

Also available School Book Bag, School Coat and School Bobble Hat none are essential.

Children should not wear make-up or nail varnish to school at any time.

PE kit:

Swimming kit Year 3/4 Summer Term and for those children in Yr 5/6 who are working towards meeting the National Curriculum expectations and need to continue to attend Swimming Lessons.

In the summer children will also need sun cream and a sun hat will be provided.

Please ensure all clothes and shoes are labelled to enable lost items to be returned.
