Remembrance 2021

We have spent time discussing the significance of Remembrance Day and the significance of the Poppy.
Our Poppy installation was greeted with awe and wonder by our school community on arrival on Armistice Day.
We observed the 2minute silence during our service of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Mary Tavy. This afforded us the time to share our appreciation for those who have given their lives to preserve our freedoms. We must never forget !
We have received the most lovely email following our service
‘Would you please pass on our thanks and appreciation to all the children and staff involved in this morning’s service. The poems were beautiful as is the wreath and Poppy images that adorn the memorial. The children were brilliant and are a credit to themselves and the school ‘
