Welcome to Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary!
We are delighted to introduce you to our friendly village school, where children aged 4 to 11 thrive in the beautiful surroundings of Dartmoor National Park, West Devon. Our goal is to help every child achieve their best while enjoying a fun and engaging curriculum.
We believe that a fantastic curriculum meets the unique needs of each student, allowing them to grow academically, spiritually, morally, socially, and culturally.

Our Motto for this week - Don't get stressed, just do your best, Remember you've been blessed, with skills that SATs don't test Our amazing Yr6's have made us so incredibly proud this week during their SATS They have been absolutely brilliant, demonstrating such resilience , perseverance and most importantly have kept smiling throughout. Thank you to our wider supporters and most importantly to our Yr6 families who have supported their children every step of the way and for ensuring they arrived in school early this week ready to shine and of course to enjoy our customary SATs breakfast- a true highlight every morning Our wonderful prefects enjoyed an afternoon in our forest school to celebrate. And so the countdown commences- Today we presented our amazing prefects with their Leaver's Hoodies A rite of passage for our leavers to commemorate the end of SATs and the countdown to when they leave us. Mixed emotions for sure by all of us but oh boy are they proud to wear them and how ready they are to start the next chapter.
