Our Key Stage 2 artists had a wonderful time visiting an artist’s open studio as part of Devon Open Studios. They enjoyed meeting the artist and finding out more about how they create their artwork.

Our ambassadors explored beautiful watercolour paintings and discovered sculptures made from found and recycled objects. They were fascinated to see how everyday items can be turned into something creative and special!

This visit will help the children develop their own art skills, knowledge and ideas as we explore Recycled Art and Street Art in our classes. We hope the visit will inspire them to experiment, think creatively and see art in the world around them.
